"Floral 57" - Flowers in Watercolor

The unveiling of my first Watercolor Flower, for the May Show. I am the one who framed it. I do the framing for my own work most of the time, and have a large collection of special frames to choose from. I frame other artwork too, just a little side line...part of my cottage industry.

This is the beginning of a new chapter. Being featured in a lovely old world florist/interior design studio was a wonderful experience. They had 8 weddings the weekend I set up my show. The fragrances were heavenly and will cause my memories of my first watercolor flower to have an even richer depth. This show was in a shop called "57 Treasury". That's where this name came from. Catchy...like Studio 54...
